Our Optional division, which is similar in concept to the USA Gymnastics Level 7, utilizes the Illinois High School Association rules, with some modifications to ensure safety for our gymnasts. 

Gymnasts are divided into 6 different levels, depending on skill and ability.  They advance at their own pace based upon their scores at the competitions. 

The season begins in January, and concludes in May with a state meet.
